Join us on a walk through the woodlands of the Gwydyr Forest to Llyn Elsi, a lake hidden in the forest above Betws y Coed.About this Event
The walk through the forest is fairly easy going, leading to a clearing with excellent views across to Moel Siabod.
We’ll also visit the monument built to commemorate the opening of the Betws y Coed Waterworks by Lord Ancaster in June 1914.
The walk is approximately 4.5 miles long.
A lovely walk, suitable for everyone and well behaved dogs are welcome.
It does have a steep section to begin with but this soon levels out.
What to bring:
A packed lunch and drinks.
