LLAMA: A Phish Tribute
Long jams, big grooves and a setlist nobody can predict, including the band.
Phoenix’s own LLAMA brings the Phish experience to SanTan Gardens on Saturday, January 30th. These four are devoted to the improvisational spirit that makes a Phish show unlike any other. Some nights the tempo is flat-out sprinting. Other nights they settle into a patient, groove-heavy jam and let it wander wherever it wants to go.
Fans of “You Enjoy Myself” and “Stash” will be right at home, and there’s always a chance of a deep cut that sends the seasoned heads into a frenzy. If you’ve never seen Phish, this is a friendly way in. If you’ve seen them thirty times, you already have your spot picked out.
Wear something comfortable, bring your dancing shoes and plan to stay awhile. We don’t expect this one to be a quick night.
