We’re back! The 2nd Annual Lizard Peak Scramble Trail runs returns to the desert hills of Lake Havasu. What can you expect? A great morning on the dirt as you push yourself to new limits. A 10k run around the mountain, a 5k run and scramble to Lizard Peak and our more mellow 5k Fun Run/Hike event are all waiting for you.
Our new 10k route will give participants a taste of all that our desert trails have to offer without the intense hike/scramble to Lizard Peak. Single track, technical rock sections, a smooth flat mesa, sandy gravel washes, modest elevation changes and a trip out to the blue green waters of Balanced Rock cove.
Lizard Peak Scramble 5k is the only event going to the summit. Run, scramble and claw your way to 360 degree views at the top.
Our 5k Fun Run is a 3+ mile loop that is perfect for those new to trails as well as those who want to tackle a fast runnable event.
