SoCal native Liz Cole grew up in a musical household, taking up the trumpet at the age of nine and switching to singing later in life. After a regrettable hiatus to join the nonmusical workforce, she has since found her way back to jazz and has begun making a name for herself in LA with her classic, hard-swinging sound. She has had the pleasure of playing with some of Los Angeles’ finest musicians, including Joe La Barbera, Larry Koonse, Darek Oles, Otmaro Ruiz, Aarón Serfaty, and Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band. Her debut album, I Want to Be Happy, was released in January 2025, and she can be seen singing on the hit TV series Tracker in the episode entitled “Exodus.”
Texas transplant Jeffrey Gimble grew up surrounded by the sounds of his father Maynard's big band orchestra. After being an actor in NYC for 20 years, he relocated to LA saying "I'm probably the only actor to move to LA, give up acting & sing jazz standards instead". Jeffrey’s newest recording “Brand New Key” (2025) celebrates songs from the 60s and 70s reimagined for a modern jazz sensibility, coupled with a clever handful of rare standards and bossas. The recording was listed as one of the top 10 Vocal Jazz Albums of 2025 (UK’s BeBop Spoken Here).
