About this Event
The events of our lives easily stick to us, like mud that we don't know how to wash ourselves of. Whether we view what happens to us as good or bad we can find ourselves spending more time imagining how things will be, or re-living what just happened (or even what happened ten years ago!), than we spend truly engaged in the present moment.
Training to live with presence is like learning to rise up out of this mud and walk on stilts. Just like learning to balance it requires practice, and we will often fall back down, but this training let's us move through life's varied terrain more easily, with less attachment to what was, less concern about what will be, and more connection with what is.
