About this Event
Preventing Burnout is the final workshop in Living Well with ADHD, a four-week adult ADHD life skills series.
Constantly compensating, masking, catching up and pushing through can become exhausting. This practical session explores how ADHD burnout can develop, how to recognise it earlier and how to build a more sustainable way of living.
We’ll cover:
- ADHD burnout and how it may differ from ordinary tiredness
- Masking, overcompensating and pushing through
- The boom-and-bust cycle
- Recognising your early warning signs
- Boundaries, recovery and more sustainable expectations
You’ll have time to consider what drains and restores your energy and create a simple plan for reducing your personal risk of burnout.
About:
The workshop is led by Jennie Canty, a neurodivergent-specialist psychotherapist with both professional and lived experience of ADHD.
