About this Event
Join us for the opening of Look Back to Look Forward, an interactive, traveling exhibition created as part of the reopening of Time Capsules made by young people across Chicago in 2021.
Organized around the past, present, and future, the exhibition invites visitors to explore stories and artifacts from the past, reflect on life and community today, and imagine what they hope the future holds.
At this special opening event, hear from civic, cultural, and community leaders who helped bring the exhibition to life. Be among the first to experience the installation, contribute your own story, and add your voice to a growing record of Chicago today.
The event runs from 5–7 p.m., with a short speaking program beginning at 5:45 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. Family-friendly activities available throughout the evening.
Light bites and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
