About this Event
Date and Time: Sunday, November 15, 2026 | 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Venue: The Conservatory at Evergreen
Hosted by Living Mindfully, LLC
The holidays can bring meaningful moments, familiar traditions, and time with the people we love. They can also bring full calendars, extra responsibilities, and pressure to make everything special for everyone else.
Living Mindfully Through the Holidays is an invitation to slow down before the season gets busy. Join us for a peaceful day of learning, connection, and relaxation to help you prepare mentally and physically for the weeks ahead. You may even get a little holiday shopping done along the way!
What to Expect
Learn and Reflect
We’ll begin with presentations from Dr. Archana Shrestha, physician and author of The Thrival Code, and Staci Vanzant, LCSW, NBC-HWC, founder of Living Mindfully, LLC.
Together, we’ll explore ways to recognize stress, respond to your needs, and support your well-being while navigating the demands of the holiday season.
Staci will introduce her Human Sustainability Theory and assessments designed to help you notice which human needs require attention. You’ll have time to reflect on your own needs and identify practical ways to care for yourself through the holidays.
A Complimentary Gift
Each attendee will receive a complimentary copy of Dr. Archana’s book, The Thrival Code, to continue learning and reflection at home.
Lunch, Connection, and Holiday Shopping
During a one-hour lunch intermission, enjoy a meal, mingle, make connections, and browse participating vendors. Find a thoughtful holiday gift, enjoy a conversation, or take a quiet moment for yourself.
Somatic Yoga and Sound Bath
We’ll end the day with somatic yoga and a sound bath, offering space for gentle movement, rest, and relaxation. You’re encouraged to participate at your own comfort level. No prior experience is needed.
Who Is This Event For?
Everyone is welcome to join us for a day focused on caring for themselves. The concepts may be especially meaningful for nurses, doctors, therapists, social workers, educators, caregivers, and others in the helping professions who spend much of their time supporting others.
Whether you’re balancing professional demands, caring for family, or simply hoping to approach the holidays with more calm, this day offers space to consider what you need, too.
Come on your own or bring a friend. No prior experience with mindfulness, yoga, or sound baths is necessary.
