A free, multi-generational journal circle exploring storytelling, reflection, healing, and belonging.
About this Event
Your story holds wisdom. Your experiences deserve space. Your voice belongs here.
Join The Living Well at Baltimore Unity Hall for the Living Library Journal Circle, a free, multi-generational gathering where writing, reflection, and conversation become pathways to healing, connection, and belonging.
A program of The Living Library Human Story Exchange, this interactive session is facilitated by Mya Dixon Ajanku and Aya Dixon. Together, we’ll explore our Human Books' lived experiences through storytelling, shadow work, and embodied reflection—considering how place, memory, family, and community shape who we are and who we are becoming.
What to Expect
- Guided journaling and thoughtful reflection prompts
- Storytelling and meaningful conversation across generations
- Exploration of shadow work—the parts of our experiences and ourselves we may overlook or leave unspoken
- Embodied reflection that connects writing with awareness of the body
- Opportunities to strengthen community belonging and explore pathways to living well
Whether you write regularly or are opening a journal for the first time, you are welcome. No writing experience is required. Share at your own comfort level; you can also participate through listening and quiet reflection.
