Living History Lab: The Harvest Wreath 🍂Before the modern holiday season, autumn wreaths were woven from the last crops of the year to celebrate the harvest and the changing of the seasons.
Join us this November for a hands-on Living History Lab where you can build your own harvest wreath! The Museum will provide the wreath bases and plenty of faux autumn foliage, berries, and wheat to build your design.
Want to add a personal or historically accurate touch? We invite you to forage in your own yard and bring along dry pinecones, sweetgum balls, twigs, or dried herbs/veggies to weave into your creation!
As always, this Living History Lab is completely free and open to the public with no registration required. Supplies are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
