Fresh off performances at the Melbourne international Comedy Festival & The New Zealand international Comedy festival Hamish is a fresh & funny voice to the New Zealand comedy scene. Achievements include coming third in the 2006 Otumoetai primary school triathlon & being a finalist in the National Raw comedy quest with Heta & Courtney Dawson

Chester Jerrat got his start in comedy performing in the 2014 Class Comedians and was invited to perform in another show in the 2014 NZICF. In 2015 he made it to the semi-finals of the Raw Comedy Quest. Since then, he’s been performing all around Auckland. He did one gig in Melbourne, but it went terribly, let's not go into it. Chester offers a young man’s perspective on everything from money and jobs to self-confidence and New Zealand culture. Look out for Chester with his shit haircut and huge forehead performing at the Classic and beyond this year!

TimProvise is a busy individual who wears many hats. He's a former co-host of the morning radio show The Morning Shack on Niu FM, but continues to report for the Sky Sport show The Crowd Goes Wild, and even embarks on adventures in the video series Bakery Run, where he visits Kiwi bakeries with local celebrities. Now he's doing standup comedy, because why wouldn't he.

Karoki is a person returning to standup and another person that the intrudy reached out to Popppys to say, 'You should definielty put this guy on at Poppys.' He's from Kenyan, and tots himself as a 'kiwi level two adult and comedian Chef.
Theo Shakes / @theoshakes
Fresh as to the NZ standup comedy scene, with industry watchers saying, 'He's one to watch', he's a 22 year old filmmaker, actor, and TikToker based in New Zealand. He recently graduated Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School, as an actor and artist. You may have seen him on the social media giant TikTok with 1.4 million followers.

Last but not least. He's written for popular comedy shows such as 7 Days and Have You Been Paying Attention? He's becoming a regular at Poppys, a regular at the Classic Comedy Club and was the host of NZICF's 2024 show 'Crowd Pleaser,' he's in a master class of his own when it comes to crowd work.
