Coming LIVE to the Art House stage on December 3rd: nonesuch.reedquintet!nonesuch.reedquintet is a Pacific Northwest–based chamber ensemble dedicated to adventurous programming, new music, and reimagining where and how classical music is experienced. Known for thoughtfully curated programs designed for both traditional and non-traditional venues, the ensemble brings together oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bass clarinet, and bassoon to create a richly colored and expressive sonic world.
Committed to close collaboration with living composers, nonesuch.reedquintet regularly commissions and premieres new works while placing them in dialogue with music from the classical canon. Their projects often explore connections between music, nature, science, and community, and are presented in concert halls, wineries, museums, and other distinctive spaces throughout the region.
Having recently returned from their debut international tour through Southeast Asia, nonesuch.reedquintet is especially excited to be back on their home turf, sharing music with the communities that continue to shape their artistic voice and continuing to build meaningful connections through live performance.
