We’re delighted to welcome The Blue Cats to The Red Lion for a night of fantastic live music!
Playing Americana, with vintage cuts of Country, Blues, R&B and Country Soul, this five-piece band brings together some seriously talented and experienced musicians from the Oxfordshire music scene.
🎤 Paul Quarterman – Vocals & Guitar
Former frontman of Littleblood and member of Past Imperfect, with influences ranging from Van Morrison to Boz Scaggs.
🎸 Simon Hayward – Guitars & Mandolin
An accomplished Americana musician who’s honed his skills in Nashville and played alongside some of the greats.
🥁 Tim Turan – Drums
A familiar name from bands including The Relationships and Easy Tiger, and a MOJO award-winning mastering engineer.
🎹 Joe Baker – Keyboards, Saxophone & Backing Vocals
A talented young musician making his mark on the Oxfordshire jazz, blues and soul scene.
🎸 Dai Amos – Bass & Backing Vocals
A local legend on the Oxfordshire rock and blues circuit, with years of experience playing in some of the area’s best-known bands.
Five fantastic musicians, a great mix of music and what promises to be a cracking night!
