Lid Dixon is an American singer and songwriter known for writing lyrics that explore poetic structures in interesting ways (and for an obsession with hats). He has been compared to Elliot Smith, Lou Reed, Paul Westerberg, and Jeff Tweedy. Dixon released 2 records in the early 2000s and then took a break from recording and performing. Dixon moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado in 2021 and found inspiration as a fan at FoCoMX – his hiatus ended. In 2023, Dixon released "Parlor Trick," 2024 saw the release of "Rodeo Clown," and 2026 "Postcards from Baton Rouge." These studio recordings, an indie video, and numerous live performances are the product of a performing songwriting finding his stride in a rich music community.
