Kindness sounds pretty good live.Maisie's Green Brae is presenting sponsor of the ChooseKindACD 5K, and the music runs right alongside it. Allison Rose — a Charlotte-area vocalist and DJ with two decades in entertainment — spins and emcees from 8:30 to 10:30 am. Once the 5K wraps, she and Jake Wright take the stage as their band, Crystal Aria, for two live sets.
You don't need a race bib to be here. Come for the music, stay for the cause — the kindness celebration goes all morning.
DJ set: 8:30–10:30 am
Live music: two sets, following the 5K
