About this Event
Join us for an unforgettable night of live music and entertainment from Dirty Red and the Soul Shakers at Compass Point, home of Dirty Girl Adventures. It will be a perfect evening to relax, dance, and socialize on The Courtyard!
Dirty Red & The Soul Shakers are a modern-day powerhouse blues band, built on old-school influences and a mutual love for the down'n'dirty style of blues.
Eric “Dirty Red” McDaniel is a singer-songwriter, harmonica-playing bluesman from Oklahoma. After decades of songwriting experience, he got his start performing on stage with Oklahoma Blues legend Miss Blues. He has appeared on recordings with Miss Blues and The Blue Notes, Old Gray Mule, Rickett Pass and Cedric Burnside, as well as three albums with his own band, Dirty Red & The Soul Shakers. In January 2018, they represented Oklahoma at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, advancing to the semifinals.
Dirty Red traveled to the Festiblues event in La Paz, Bolivia, both in 2025 and 2026. There he taught classes and performed GOGO Blues. In 2026, he also toured with Gonzalo Gomez and Blenio Blues, playing several shows in Brazil.
