Adders are known for delivering larger-than-life, riff-driven modern alt-rock with stadium-sized ambition and a healthy nod to the classics. Fierce, energetic and impossible to ignore, their usual full-throttle approach is built to shake walls and rattle foundations. Tonight, however, the band cleverly scale things back for the intimate surroundings of The Tuppenny, transforming their trademark sound into a powerful acoustic set. The amplifiers may be quieter, but the intensity remains untouched. Stripped of volume but not attitude, Adders prove that strong songs, raw energy and commanding presence can hit just as hard without risking structural damage to the venue, at least, not too much.Support comes from 90's dream rockers Lost Velvet, also in a more restrained and stripped back mode.
