On Saturday 10th October, we welcome Acantha Lang to Idalia.
New Orleans-born and London-based, GRAMMY®-nominated songwriter and soul artist Acantha Lang brings a powerful voice and timeless soul sound, drawing comparisons to legends including Aretha Franklin and Gladys Knight. Her acclaimed debut album, Beautiful Dreams, reached No. 3 on the Official UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart, earning 5-star reviews and widespread support from BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music and Jazz FM.
For this special stripped-back performance, Acantha will be bringing her powerhouse vocals to the forefront. Expect songs from Beautiful Dreams alongside carefully selected soul classics, reimagined for a more intimate setting.
Catch Acantha at Idalia from 7.30pm, performing soulful jazz, covers and originals as you dine, before moving downstairs to Pepperbird from 9.30pm for a more intimate, late-night set. A £10 cover charge applies for live music.
