Little Women (2019)Presented by The GRAND
There are grand adventures to be had, stories to be written, hearts to be broken, and lives to be lived.
Greta Gerwig brings Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel to vibrant new life in Little Women, a sumptuous, spirited, and deeply moving portrait of sisterhood, ambition, and the messy business of growing up.
With Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, Emma Watson, and Eliza Scanlen as the fiercely individual March sisters, Gerwig weaves between childhood memories and adult aspirations, capturing the joys and heartbreaks of a family determined to make their own way in the world.
Forget the corsets and calling cards. These women have things to say, art to make, and futures to claim. With a stellar supporting cast, breathtaking costumes, and a refreshingly modern take on a timeless classic, Little Women is a celebration of the bonds that shape us and the stories we choose to tell.
Join us for 'Gerwig at The GRAND', a double bill celebrating one of contemporary cinema’s most distinctive storytellers, with Barbie at 3pm followed by Little Women at 7pm.
Bring your sisters, your best friends, your favourite people. Settle in for an evening of big feelings, beautiful filmmaking, and a little March family magic.
