Local Books for Local Kids is a community literacy initiative dedicated to promoting childhood literacy through children’s book donation drives that help stock Little Free Libraries throughout Tallahassee.Throughout the month of December, bring a new or gently used children’s book to any Tallahassee Silent Book Club meetup and your donation will be matched! For every book our community donates, another book will be added, doubling the number of books we can put into local Little Libraries.
Books for all childhood reading levels and ages are welcome, from picture books and early readers to chapter books and young adult titles.
🎁 Bring a book. We’ll match it. Together, we’ll fill Tallahassee’s Little Libraries with stories for local kids this Christmas
