Mark your calendars for the official launch of award-winning author Krysta Fitzpatrick’s newest book of uncanny feminist tales: Little Island, Tiny Mercies. The event takes place on Sunday, December 6th from 8 - 9:30pm at The Ship Pub.
Little Island, Tiny Mercies, a captivating collection of twelve short stories, invites readers into a world where the boundaries of reality blur with the supernatural, and the macabre mingles with dark humor.
Each tale weaves a unique narrative, exploring themes of feminine rage, cults, cannibalism, and the horrors of reality television, all while embracing elements of folk horror and magical realism.
Through her masterful storytelling, Fitzpatrick invites readers to confront the uncanny and bizarre, making it a must-read for fans of the genre.
There will be readings, art, books and vintage items (clothes and accessories and children’s items) for sale, and overall mischievous merriment.
Kelly Bastow and Shan Pomeroy will be selling art, and Cecilia Amber Adornments and Curio Emporium will be bringing the vintage :)
This event is totally free! Hope to see you there!
