Little Fashion Studio: Pilot Workshop
Join us for the pilot of Little Fashion Studio, a new hands-on fashion program for kids aged 8-12, run by Perth Clothes Swap. On Sunday 29 November, children will spend two hours designing and making their own piece of clothing or an accessory from secondhand and recycled garments, using mostly no-sew techniques.
This session is our pilot, a chance for families to be part of shaping the program before our 2 day school holiday course launches in January. The $60 session fee can be used as credit toward the full course.
Meet your facilitators
Renee is the founder of Perth Clothes Swap and is currently completing her Master of Primary Teaching while working as an Educational Assistant.
Jake is a Primary School teacher with more than 5 years of experience in education.
Photos and filming
As this is our pilot, we will be taking photos and filming during the session to create promotional material for the January course launch. Children can only take part if a parent or guardian has given consent to be photographed and filmed. Consent will be collected on the registration form.
