Families with children 6 and younger are invited to decorate colorfully painted paper-mache skulls using paint markers and sticky gems. This workshop is inspired by Where Memory Lives: 40 Years of Día de Muertos.Space is limited. To register, email [email protected].

About the Teaching Artist:
Nancy Alvarado Rosas has been a graphic designer since 2013 and has developed her creative career in education using various disciplines. Her current preferred media include digital illustration, acrylic paint, and visual journals. Since joining NMMA’s Education team, she has taught art, journaling, and design workshops to children and their parents, using Mexican culture as a backdrop and inspiration. Nancy also owns and directs Letterkey, a stationery and lifestyle shop created to inspire organization and creativity.
