Listening for the Common GoodWhat helps people feel like they belong in a community?
As our community's experience increasing loneliness, division, and disconnection, many people are asking how we can create stronger relationships and work together for the common good. Faith communities have long been places of connection, service, and hope; but what role can they play today alongside nonprofits, schools, businesses, and neighbors in building healthier, more connected communities?
Join us for a community conversation designed to listen, learn, and imagine what is possible together.
Through guided discussion, we'll explore questions such as:
How can faith communities become stronger partners in building better communities?
What needs in our community are currently going unmet?
What do people value most when faith organizations engage in the community?
What barriers make collaboration and participation difficult?
What could meaningful partnerships look like in the future?
Whether you are connected to a faith community, work for a nonprofit, serve in education, healthcare, local government, business, or simply care about the future of our community, your voice matters. This is not a forum for debate or a meeting to promote one organization. It is an opportunity to listen deeply, learn from one another, and help shape a vision for how faith communities and community partners can work together to strengthen belonging, well-being, and the common good. Together, we can begin imagining a future where no one has to navigate life's challenges alone.
