Lino Printing Workshop – Create Your Own Hand-Printed Christmas Cards
Join me at Studio Infinara for a relaxed and creative workshop exploring the beautiful art of lino printing. This welcoming space is perfect for complete beginners as well as those who have tried lino printing before. With a small group of just 10 participants, there will be plenty of guidance and support throughout the session.
You’ll learn how to design, carve, and print your own lino block to create a series of unique, festive greeting cards.
As a local artist, I have been creating art my whole life and have more than a decade of teaching experience. I will guide you through the lino printing process step-by-step, so no prior art experience is necessary!
What you’ll do
During the workshop you will:
- Learn the basics of lino printing
- Design and carve your own festive lino block
- Experiment with printing techniques
- Print your custom design onto a set of 6 blank cards to take home
Designing your print
You’re welcome to bring along a printed image or festive idea to work from, or you can choose from a selection of imagery and fun Christmas puns provided during the workshop.
What’s included
All materials and tools are provided, including:
- Lino blocks
- Carving tools
- Black printing ink
- 6 blank cards and matching envelopes
- Step-by-step guidance
- Complimentary first hot drink and plenty of fun conversations to fuel your creative reset.
Just bring yourself and enjoy a creative experience. You may wish to wear dark or older clothing as we will be using black printing ink.
A relaxed creative space
Workshops are kept small (maximum 10 people) so everyone receives individual support. Whether you're completely new to printmaking or returning to it, you’ll be guided through the process in a friendly and encouraging environment.
Spaces are limited
This workshop is limited to just 10 places, so early booking is recommended.
To ensure a peaceful environment where everyone can truly unwind, our workshops are designed for guests aged 18 and over.
