Learn to design, cut, and print your own lino stamps, and take all your creations home afterwards <3
At this workshop you will learn the basics of linocut printmaking, create a design, hand-carve it, and print it, all in one session. Zero experience or materials required! Complete beginners or experienced printmakers wanting a fun lino hangout, everyone is welcome to join.
The sessions are set up so that you will be able to make a one-colour print of roughly 10x10cm. If you would like to take on a more ambitious project (thinking larger, more complicated, or multi-colour prints), I recommend booking a spot at my Lino Printing Skills workshops at Agora Studios!
Tickets exist in a range of prices in order to keep it accessible to everyone, please choose the option that best fits your situation or get in touch if you would like to discuss any accessibility matters directly.
Venue access: The Alchemy Experiment is at street level on Byres Rd, but the toilets are in the basement with no lift, meaning that unfortunately the event isn't fully wheelchair accessible. Please get in touch to discuss any concerns.
