Our popular fabric Lino printing workshop takes a festive turn. Discover Lino cutting and printing techniques to make a beautifully crafted creation to keep or to gift. Create a design inspired by the festive season. Bring along a found image or let our tutor and textile artist Wendy Gray inspire you.
Transform your design into a Lino cut then print it onto paper to test and refine. When you are happy. with your design, Wendy will show you how to print onto fabric and creatively embellish it using a variety of colourful embroidery stitches.
Wendy inspires you to use some key creative stitches to add colour and personality to your seasonal print. If you have never stitched before, don’t worry – Wendy is a patient and qualified teacher, and if you already know some embroidery techniques, you will find slow stitching in good company mindfully relaxing.
Not only will you leave with a crafted piece of art to be proud of, but also the skills to create additional pieces throughout the year for yourself, your family and your friends.
All materials are included and no previous printing or stitching experience is required.
Each participant also receives a 10% voucher to spend online or put towards another workshop.
