A space of being with some low-friction doing.

The low-down:
Who: Anyone who wants to step away from some ditial and spend more time in hands-on activities but don't know where to start. Yes, even colouring can get overwhelming, and we've got your back to get you started.
What: Analog activities and crafts with starter packets provided for each attendee. Every meet will also have planner and journal examples to flip through.
When: Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, from 7:30-9pm except for September, which will be on the 3rd, 4th & 5th Tuesdays, Sept 15, 22 & 29.
Where: Ten Ren's Tea at Langham Square in Markham.
Why: To give yourself sometime to breathe and play, away from the strings attached to the digital world.
Sept 15: Ever wondered about washi and stickers? Come play with what we have in our stationery kit! Bring your own notebook/journal/planner or use our paper supply. For those who'd like a break from paper, we'll have various cords available to try your hand at making a Chinese button knot.
Sept 22: Try your hand at some brush lettering or handwritten fonts to open up your creative expression for notes, cards, planners... wherever you'd like to add a spark of joy! We'll have Tombow markers, Crayola markers, and regular pencils available for you to dip your fingers into the world of lettering.
Sept 29: Clay foam! We'll have some available for free play, and Clay Moo kits available for pre-order (orders must be in by Sept 21). We'll also have washi, stickers, and lettering make a return.

- not to judge or be judged, just… be with a little bit of do, and maybe find some joy. =)
Come join me on a Tuesday evening to try out a new activity with others. No strings attached, no completion required, no achievement to unlock other than showing up and starting an adventure into analog. A starter packet will be ready for each attendee. Some sessions may have more comprehensive packets for purchase. This is a space for adults to re-discover play and curiosity. Activities without goals or defined outcomes, a place where you can come and simply be for awhile. A place where you can expermment!
Every meet up will have a different combination of activities available. Examples include:

All tickets include $10 towards a purchase at the restaurant at the event.

Stepping Into That Analog
Info: We'll learn messy together. We'll use our hands to explore, give our brains and eyes and fingers small challenges outside of the digital world. We'll share our successes and trials, tips for how we got through. We'll giggle at ourselves and with each other. We'll take one step into that fear of failure and encourage each other in dealing with that discomfort together.

Wrapping Up And Saying Goodbye
Info: We'll signal the time and encourage attendees to finish up whichever section they're working on and begin packing up. Any unfinished drinks can be put into a cup to go.
