In honor of OCD Awareness Week (October 11–17, 2026), the Sakonnet River Bridge will be lit teal on October 16, 2026 to raise awareness of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and show support for the OCD community.Teal is the official color of OCD awareness. By lighting up one of Rhode Island’s landmarks, we hope to shine a light on OCD, reduce stigma, and create a visible symbol of hope and support for individuals and families affected by OCD.
