Lifespan Seated Dance classes are a great way to enjoy moving your body to music, in a safe and supported space - your own chair.These joyful classes begin seated with gentle spine and torso movements, then incorporate footwork and co-ordination sequences and progress towards standing options (with support of the chair) where appropriate. The class sequences are choreographed to music which have great appeal and assists moving to rhythms.
Endorsed by Dance for Parkinson's Australia - these classes are suitable for people with conditions which limit mobility such as ageing, arthritis, hip/knee replacements and seniority. Register now - limited places available!
Classes will be held on Tuesdays term time - Attend one or more classes or enjoy them all! Join us for class (1pm - 2pm).
Cost - $15 casual or $140 with the purchase of a 10-Class Card. Payable at the Welcome Desk. Carers/partners/support workers attend free of charge.
