Through Prism & Prose - a multidisciplinary creative wellness enterprise - author, filmmaker, and scholar, Simone Drake, offers the Writing for Wellness series "I Have Stories to Tell."
This series focuses on memoir and life writing, drawing from visual arts as muse.
The series focuses on the writing process: learning about and practicing developing one's voice, style, ideation, and the revision process. The class is intended for those who want to approach writing as both a skill they wish to develop and hone and as a creative-based restorative practice. Incorporating grounding techniques into the writing process, this series emphasizes wellness and creativity as synergistic and complementary.
Students can choose to enroll in a single workshop (s) or the complete four-workshop series.
