Learn all about what lives just below the surface of the pond! Meet the team of turtle researchers at Benedictine University and see demonstrations of how they check the health of the wild turtle population on campus.
This event is held along the shores of Lake St. Benedict. Parking is available in the Benedictine University Parking Garage. FREE! Open to all ages!
Nature art stations are provided by The Morton Arboretum and the Environmental Education Association of Illinois. Natural history stations are provided by the Jurica-Suchy Nature Museum, Master Naturalists, and the Darien Garden Club - Sprouts Youth Garden Club.
The Jurica-Suchy Nature Museum will also be open from 10am to 2pm. Free admission. 2nd floor of Birck Hall of Science.
