October is Liver Cancer Awareness Month, concurrent with breast cancer awareness month. Bile duct cancer (Cholangiocarcinoma) is a rare form of primary liver cancer. It is often silent in its early stages and current prognosis is poor.

United For Impact (UFI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to advancing health, well-being, awareness, and meaningful community impact. Following the event, once associated expenses have been covered, UFI intends to allocate a portion of the proceeds toward organizations and initiatives directly contributing to patient care, innovative treatment, awareness, and access to life-saving resources.
One of our priorities is supporting a local facility advancing innovative treatment solutions. We also anticipate directing support toward the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation and the American Liver Foundation.
At the heart of this initiative is awareness, access, and a shared commitment to saving lives. Our hope is that the impact of this event will extend well beyond the day itself—helping support patients, advance access to treatment, and make a meaningful difference for families affected by cholangiocarcinoma.
