Librissimi Opening Night and Lifetime Achievement Award

Organized in collaboration with presenting partner Villa Charities, Librissimi Toronto Italian Book Festival is an event dedicate to Italian Canadian writers and strives to build bridges with Italian literary arts.

Opening Night brings together the community to celebrate authors and this year the festival we honour the work and achievements of professor Joseph Pivato who was among the first to identify and promote the Italian Canadian voice in literature.

Join us for an evening of celebration and fun, meet old friends, make new ones, browse the photo exhibition, visit the silent auction (there's something for everyone!) and get ready to check out the festival lineup for a weekend of books, books and more books.
