About this Event
Liberating Structures, created by Henri Lipmanowicz and Keith McCandless, offer a fresh, practical way to collaborate. These 33 simple microstructures help any group unlock the insights and contributions of everyone involved. In this hands-on meetup, you’ll experience how they bring energy, trust, and collective intelligence to life.
Topic of this meetup
During this meetup, we’ll explore Min Specs. This Liberating Structure helps groups identify the few essential rules or conditions needed to achieve a shared purpose, while creating as much freedom as possible.
Participants start by identifying all the rules, requirements, and conditions they believe are necessary for success. They then challenge each one by asking what would happen if they removed it. Through this process, the group gradually discovers the minimum set of truly essential specifications. It's a powerful way to reduce unnecessary constraints, encourage autonomy, and create clarity without overcomplicating things.
What to expect
- Practice the original Min Specs steps.
- Try out different tweaks and variations.
- Learn how to combine it with other Liberating Structures.
- Exchange experiences, ideas, and insights with others.
- As a bonus, we'll use other LS to explore Min Specs.
