About this Event
We are thrilled to invite you to a special collaboration between and – a new private drawing society focused on the beauty of the human figure.
Taking place in the refined setting of , this is a curated evening for our community to slow down and create. We are keeping this incredibly intimate – just 12 spots – to ensure a focused, sophisticated atmosphere where you can truly connect with the art and each other.
The Experience
Founded by artists Stuart King and Michael Diss, The Flaw refers to the marks left behind by sustained observation. A drawing develops through revision, uncertainty, adjustment, pressure, restraint, and return. Over time the page begins to hold a visible record of attention.
During the evening, Stuart and Michael will guide us through a sequence of live-model exercises designed to sharpen the eye and relax the hand. Whether you’re an experienced artist or haven't picked up a pencil since school, you are welcome here!
