About this Event
Join OutPro for a special evening of connection, conversation, and history at the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center (SNMVC). This unique gathering brings together LGBTQ professionals and allies working across real estate–related industries, including development, architecture, design, construction, finance, and brokerage.
During this two-hour networking open house and guided tour, guests will learn how the vision for a visitor center honoring the legacy of Stonewall was brought to life.
- The program begins with a slide presentation introduction by Richard Unterthiner, Principal and Design Director at EDG Architecture + Engineering, the firm that designed the space, who will share a behind-the-scenes tour of the space and what it took to build.
- A representative from Pride Live will then lead a guided exploration of the space, highlighting the history of Stonewall, the events leading up to this pivotal moment, and its continuing impact on the LGBTQ community and the freedoms we enjoy today.
- Following the program, attendees will enjoy networking and the opportunity to connect with fellow professionals across the real estate community. Beverages and light fare are generously sponsored by EDG Architecture + Engineering.
- After the event, guests are invited to continue the conversation next door at the historic Stonewall Inn—the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ rights movement and the site of the Stonewall Rebellion.
Come for the architecture and history, stay for the connections, and celebrate a landmark space that honors LGBTQ history while bringing our community together today.
