Mingle with LGBTQ+ folk and allies. Halloween costumes are encouraged or casual beach attire is fine. We will gather as a group on the front, enclosed patio.

Party with a purpose: In addition, as ongoing community service, if you can, please clean out your cupboard of unused, nonperishable food items for AFAC, the community leader in providing and promoting dignified access to nutritious food for people in need. This event will serve as a convenient collection point. AFAC distributes over 80,000 pounds of food to more than 2,500 families every week. 40% of that food is donated to AFAC from food drives like this and grocery store donations. More information on what's needed is at http://www.afac.org/donate-food/ Please feel free to bring as much food (cereal, canned goods,etc) as you wish, as it will be picked up that night and delivered to AFAC.
We hope you can make it! You may arrive at any time that's convenient for you. Bring your friends and meet new people from all over the world. We will gather near the stage as you enter. At least 20 LGBTQ+ folk are expected. Enjoy the cash or credit bar drinks. Just ask the bartender what the happy hour specials are. Scareoke starts at 8 p.m.
Metro Directions: Be eco-friendly. Crystal City Metro is the closest Metro stop. When you arrive, go out the station, walk towards your left to 18th Street and then veer right and walk under the Route 1 overpass to Eads St. Turn left and walk to 23rd Street. Turn right. Freddie's is up 23rd Street just a block. Just look for the rainbow flags on the right side of the street!
Parking is usually available nearby on the residential side streets.
