About this Event
Members of the LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer+) community often face unique challenges and barriers when it comes to addiction treatment and recovery, which is why we are dedicated to creating a supportive environment for you. Our recovery meetings provide a stigma-free and inclusive space for members of the queer community to share struggles with mental health issues, drug addiction, or alcoholism.
Facilitated by our recovery coaches, we discuss various obstacles that may impact your sobriety, ranging from transgender identity and sexual preference to social injustices in the heteronormative world. Our LGBTQ+ addiction support group is free and open to the community on the road to sobriety.
