Come and join us for a morning of sharing work created in the Lewisham Writes workshops.
About this Event

Join us for a relaxed and supportive morning sharing work created in the Lewisham Writes workshops. Hosted by writer Carinya Sharples, participants will be invited to read their work and share their experience of being on the course. The event will be open to friends and family of the writers, so please do bring someone with you.

If you’d like to perform, you’ll need to attend at least one of the Lewisham Writes workshops and send in the piece you’d like to read by Monday 13 May. We will send more details on performing to the participants who sign up to this event.

Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.

About the artists:

Carinya Sharples is a writer and teacher living in southeast London. She is currently working on a PhD at the University of Leicester, exploring representations of mixedness in Guyanese literature. She is also working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) alongside her studies.

Useful information about this event:

• This event is wheelchair accessible, with accessible toilets.

• If you require additional access provision in order to attend or take part in this event, for example, larger print handouts, please get in touch before the day at: [email protected]
