Hampton Roads favorite Lewis McGehee is back at Froggies.Lewis has been a fixture of the local music scene for more than 50 years — singer, songwriter, and one of the best acoustic guitar players you’ll hear around here. He’s opened for names like Bob Dylan, John Prine, Talking Heads, and Bruce Hornsby, won Veer Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award, and still plays with the same energy and heart that made him a Tidewater legend.
Expect a mix of originals and the songs everyone knows: James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, Van Morrison, Eagles, Dylan, classic rock, and more. Just a guy, a guitar, and a room full of good food and good people.
Come early, grab a plate of BBQ, a cold beer from the 22 taps, and settle in. Patio seating, full bar, and that Sunday night feel.
