no overnights - meeting daily.

Paddle Canada Level Two Sea Kayak Course -Spring 2027
Come paddle and learn with us!
This exciting course will be co-instructed by both Eleanor and Jenn, together as a team.
We are good friends who work well together, with solid strengths that compliment each other. Participants will benefit from the combo and have fun at the same time.
We will help you stretch your comfort zone while feeling supported and set up for success and future adventures in a dynamic ocean environment.
Folks who successfully complete the course will be eligible for Paddle Canada Level Two certification.

Sea Kayak rentals available.
A dry suit is highly recommended but a good wet suit (or two) is also suitable.

Boat Control in dynamic water, and strokes associated
Low brace, sculling brace, high brace
Landing and Launching in Surf
Low brace in surf
Intro to Rolling
Rescues in rough water - self and assisted, and variations.
Safety, navigation, chart and compass work
Leadership and paddling as a group
Inuit Kayak Heritage
Incident management in rough water
Towing, assorted variations.

Combined, Eleanor and Jenn have 27 years worth of experience paddling and training on the ocean. With countless expeditions, overnights and real-life ocean adventures under our belts, we can share our knowledge with you in a way that will solidify your confidence for getting out and having your own adventures.
We have a joy for sea kayaking and all that comes with it, and we are ready to share that with you.
