Level One Theraplay® & MIM is an experiential, hands-on training that introduces the core principles and practices of Theraplay® and the Marschak Interaction Method (MIM). You’ll learn through demonstration, practice, observation, and reflection—so you leave with skills you can begin using in your work right away.
You’ll explore:
• The foundations and four dimensions of Theraplay®
• How Theraplay supports connection, regulation, and attachment
• The Marschak Interaction Method (MIM) as an assessment tool
• Practical activities you can use with children and caregivers
• How Theraplay can be adapted across ages, needs, and settings
Whether you’re new to Theraplay® or ready to deepen your clinical toolkit, this training is a chance to learn by doing—and experience the power of playful connection firsthand.
