About this Event
This workshop on November 15th from 5:30-7:30pm dives into the various histories and folkloric practices of bitter plants, their herbals energetics, actions and uses, and how you can integrate them into your everyday life. Participants will then make their own unique bitters formula to take home with them!
Bitter plants are widely consumed in various cultures around the world and are considered important elements that support healthier digestive processes. This taste is often missing in North American diets, which results in widespread digestive issues involving sluggishness, bloating, and indigestion. Bitters are a wonderful option to add to mocktails and cocktails to enhance their flavour profile, and taken as a ritual before or after meals to encourage your digestive fire.
