Let’s Connect & Create | Springfield Girls Connect
Come as you are and join Lizzie and Priscilla for Let’s Connect & Create—a free Springfield Girls Connect 💜 gathering for women to relax, get creative, and build genuine friendships.
We’ll use simple journal prompts, pictures, words, colors, and drawings to create visual journal pages that reflect where we are in this season of life. There’s no perfect way to do it, and no creative experience is needed!
What to expect:
- A guided meditation to breathe and unwind
- A relaxed meet and greet with local women
- Visual journaling—draw, write, cut, and paste
- Fun conversation prompts and open discussion
- Light refreshments and time to connect
Our reflection question: “What lesson keeps finding me in this season of my life?”
Saturday, October 17, 2026 | 12–3 PM Downtown YMCA — Board & Community Room 601 N. 4th St., Springfield, IL
Please bring an old magazine or newspaper to share if you have one. We’ll provide the remaining creative supplies.
This event is open to women throughout the community—you don’t have to be in our group chat to attend. Come on your own or bring a friend!
Admission is free. Optional donations help cover visual-journaling materials and refreshments and are never required to attend.
