About this Event
Letting Go: What Are You Still Carrying—and Who Are You Beneath the Story?
What does it really mean to let go?
Why do certain emotions, memories or patterns seem to stay with us long after the original experience has passed?
And how much of what we carry has become part of the story we tell ourselves about who we are?
In this final experiential mindfulness and emotional awareness class, we’ll bring together many of the themes explored throughout the series and look more deeply at the process of releasing emotional baggage.
We’ll explore questions such as:
What keeps old patterns alive?
What happens when we stop fighting what we feel?
How much of our identity is tied to our past experiences?
And who are we beneath all of it?
Through guided awareness practices, reflection and an immersive meditative story, we’ll explore what it means to loosen the grip of old conditioning and reconnect with a deeper sense of presence, freedom and inner power.
This session is both a practical exploration of letting go and a broader reflection on the questions that sit underneath so much of our striving:
What are we really searching for?
What are we here to experience?
And what might become possible when we remember that we are more than the stories we carry?
