About this Event
Inspired by the spirit of Diwali and its associations with light, hope, renewal and new beginnings, Letters of Light is an invitation to slow down, reflect and celebrate these little and big things through the art of letter-writing.
Together, we'll explore thoughtful prompts that invite us to reflect on moments of personal growth, celebrate the people who have been a light in our lives, and put into words the gratitude, hopes and feelings we don't always get the chance to express.
With beautiful stationery, gentle guidance and a welcoming space to connect, this is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life and create something meaningful. Whether it's a letter to someone you love, a note to your past or future self, or simply a moment of reflection on paper. After writing our letters, we will immerse ourselvs in a diwali inspired craft together.
Rooted in South Asian culture, Lassi & Letters Club welcomes people of all backgrounds to join us with curiosity, openness and respect. You don't need to celebrate Diwali or have any experience with letter-writing to take part. We're here to share, learn from one another and connect through the traditions and ideas that inspire us.
What to expect

- Cute stationery, handmade stamps and stickers to write and decorate your letters
- A gentle introduction to the inspiration behind the gathering
- Opportunities to connect with others in a relaxed, welcoming setting
No writing experience is needed, and there's no pressure to share anything personal if you don't want to. Solo-attendees are most welcome! Just bring yourself, an open mind and a little time to pause.
