Why not come along and walk, get active, make new friends on one of our guided walks . All you need to do is book in on this free walking session.
Let's Walk - Bridgwater and Taunton Canal - Canalside Conference Centre to Fordgate.
This is a varied walk which is relatively level. The route takes us from the car park, where we will walk to the River Parrett & follow the public footpath along the river bank towards Huntworth. After a short section along Huntworth Lane we will join the towpath to Fordgate. We will then return to The Canalside via the towpath.
Participants should meet at 10:00am at the Canalside Conference Centre, Marsh Lane, Bridgwater, TA6 6LQ.

The walk is just over 5 miles (8 kms) and we expect to be back at the Midas Coffee Lounge by 1pm.
There is a cafe & toilet facilities at the conference centre.
This walk is not suitable for wheelchair or mobility scooter users.

Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .
Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.
