Hey ARMY and friends! KPEX tickets went on sale September 18th and I'm putting together a group to go the city on Sunday May 30, 2027. What is KPEX?
KPEX is a comic con for the Hallyu Generation, a celebration of K‑Pop, K‑Comics, K‑Dramas, K‑Gaming, K‑Food, K‑Beauty, and more in the heart of New York City! Join us for an exciting weekend filled with concerts, premieres, autographs, exclusives, and unique experiences that all connect fans with what’s next in Korean culture and entertainment. KPEX’s mission is to share Korean pop culture and support the artists and organizations behind it: We’re a community for fans, a market for exhibitors, and a platform for publishers – all focused on expanding K‑Culture in America’s biggest city!
As of now (September 18th) there isn't a ton of information (concerts, actors, vendors) but I'll be adding that fun stuff as it gets released.
Right now this is what I'm thinking.
-This is a travel only event. You are responsible for buying your own ticket to the venue, train and subway fare.
-I will ask for your cell phone so that we can have a group text as I don't want to leave anyone stranded in the big apple!
-The meeting place will be at New Haven Union Station and we will take the 10am (or whatever is the closest to that time). You can also jump on the train anywhere along the metro north line and join us!
-We will take the train to Grand Central station and then jump on the subway for a few stops. And get this, the subway line that we would need to take is the 7 line that is purple! Haha It doesn't get more fitting than that!
-Once there, you can split off or stay together but we will have a time that we meet back together to travel home.
More details to come. This is a long way off but I wanted to get it going just in case some people need to plan far in advance!
