Join us to help remove the non native invasive species Floating Pennywort from the stretch of canal alongside Rimrose country park. We will be using rafted canoes (they are very stable platforms).
Please wear old clothing and sturdy footwear. You may get wet and a bit dirty!
Booking is essential. In the event of heavy rain or strong winds the event will be postponed.
We will be removing the pennywort from along the stretch of canal by Rimrose country park. There will be jobs both on the bank and on the rafted canoes. You may get muddy!
This event will start from Litherland – car park at the end of Kirkstone Rd West, L21 0EQ and we will make our way along the towpath beside Rimrose country park.

Please book one slot per person. Arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are suitable for adults and children aged seven years old and above.
Parents and guardians must accompany their children. Walk-ins will not be accepted. If you are unable to attend, kindly cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or contact us to allow others to participate.
